Service Description

This course is designed for those who have done the discovery lesson and are committed to attaining a basic level of independence in kitesurfing. We will cover everything you need to be able to buy your own gear, go to a site, set up, ride and pack down in safety to yourself and others, without damaging your equipment. Entry requirements: 14yrs old, open water swimmer, discovery lesson completed. The is a 2 hours water based lesson, body dragging or water start, depending on progression Body Drag Enter & exit the water flying the kite Water relaunching the kite Body dragging downwind Power stroke Body dragging upwind Body dragging with board Preparation for water start Deep water pack-down and self rescue Water Start Water start theory Refresh of power stroke Position for water start First rides in each direction Controlled stop Mini power strokes Change speed & direction by edging Rights of way & How to jump On completion of the course you will receive IKO certification
